TweetAlgo ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website tweetalgo.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.
TweetAlgo is a free, browser-based tool that analyzes tweets against the X (Twitter) algorithm. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Tweet Content: The text you type into the analyzer is processed locally in your browser and is NOT stored on our servers.
- AI Boost Requests: When you use the AI Boost feature, your tweet text is sent to our server for AI processing. This data is not stored permanently and is only used for the duration of the request.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- IP Address: Used solely for rate limiting (preventing abuse of the AI Boost feature). IP addresses are stored temporarily in our rate-limiting system and automatically expire after 24 hours.
- Browser Language: Detected to display the interface in your preferred language (Turkish or English).
- Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, and general geographic region.
2.3 Marketing Email List
Email verification is required before the analyzer can be used. We use the submitted address to send a one-time verification code and to unlock access after the code is confirmed. If you voluntarily check the separate marketing consent box, we also collect your normalized email address, consent text version, consent time, confirmation time, and signup source to send TweetAlgo product announcements and marketing emails. Double opt-in verifies control of the address; it does not replace your separate marketing consent.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the tweet analysis and AI Boost features
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
- To improve our service through anonymous analytics
- To display relevant advertisements through Google AdSense
- To send product announcements only when you have provided explicit marketing consent and completed email verification
4. Cookies and Third-Party Services
4.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect anonymous data. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
4.2 Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You can manage your ad preferences at Google Ads Settings.
4.3 Upstash Redis
We use Upstash Redis for rate limiting. Only your IP address is temporarily stored (expires after 24 hours) to enforce usage limits on the AI Boost feature.
4.4 Neon Postgres and Resend
Confirmed marketing subscribers and consent records are stored in Neon Postgres. Verification emails and future marketing emails are sent through Resend after the sending domain is configured. These providers process data on our behalf under their applicable data-processing terms; we do not use the marketing list for account login.
5. Data Retention
- Tweet content: Not stored. Processed in real-time and discarded.
- Rate limit data: IP-based counters expire automatically after 24 hours.
- Analytics data: Retained according to Google Analytics default policies (26 months).
- Marketing subscription data: Retained while needed for the announcement list and consent records, or until an applicable deletion request is completed. Suppression records may be retained as needed to prevent sending after unsubscribe, complaint, bounce, or deletion requests.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. We do not store personal data beyond what is necessary for the service to function.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Know what data we collect about you
- Request deletion of any stored data
- Request access to or correction of your marketing subscription record
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email
- Opt out of analytics tracking
- Use browser settings to manage cookies
8. Marketing Email Unsubscribe
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and the standard List-Unsubscribe headers. Unsubscribing changes the subscription status and adds a suppression record so future marketing sends are blocked. To request access or deletion, contact us through the address listed below and include enough information for us to locate the request without sending personal data in the subject line.
This marketing and privacy wording should be reviewed by qualified KVKK/GDPR counsel before production launch.
9. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
